Kirkby Lonsdale Community Cupboard would love for you to join our volunteer team. Volunteering is a great way to meet people, learn new skills and support your community. Richmondshire Museum are looking for volunteers to help us bring our beautiful garden back to its former cottage garden glory. They need help with general garden maintenance, planting heritage plants and keeping the garden looking its best.

Kirkby Malhamdale Primary School need your help. Can you help the grown learners outdoors?
They are currently developing their outdoor area and have a fantastic space for volunteers who would be able to run weekly Forest School sessions.

Yorkshire Dales Wildlife Rescue urgently need volunteers for their evening shift and also transport volunteers.
The evening shift starts at 5pm upwards and involves either helping to support the running of the rescue centre by helping with housekeeping or learning to care for the wonderful wildlife patients in their care.
The transport volunteers are on hand to transport any sick animals from A to B as quickly as possible. Transport volunteers are spread as widely as possible across the Yorkshire Dales and beyond.

The Little White Bus run are in need of volunteer drivers!
They run a scheduled minibus services 6 days a week from Keld to Richmond, from Hawes to Leyburn and from Hawes to Garsdale train station. The buses help to connect the Dales communities that depend on them and by being a volunteer bus driver you can help to make it possible.
You can volunteer as much or as little as you’d like. All you need is the D1 category on your driving licence.

Grassington Hub are looking for volunteers to come and join their friendly team.
If you are able to work a regular Monday or Wednesday afternoon, they have shifts in The Hub from 1pm - 4pm. The roles involve librarian, reception and computer work as well as helping with library queries, selling tickets and parking permits, and arranging transport for medical appointments, along with many other things. The roles are interesting and varied with all training given. Craven Wildlife Rescue are in need of dedicated volunteers to join their 30 strong team.
At the moment it's baby season in the wildlife world and their main focus is on the care of the little ones. As a volunteer you would be helping to give extra support with their housekeeping duties such as cleaning, tidying, hanging the washing out, filling and emptying the dish washer, keeping everything topped up and organising the store room. Growing with Grace is a community cooperative farm based in Clapham and is dedicated to supplying sustainably grown produce to local people and businesses including Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales.
