Kirkby Lonsdale Community Cupboard wonder if you could spare an hour on a Monday? They're looking for volunteers to help set up or clear away after their community lunches at Lunesdale Hall. Choose either 10.30–11.30am or 1.30–2.30pm. There's no need to commit every week! Email coordinator@klcommunity.co.uk if you can please help.
Friends of the Settle-Carlisle Line would love for you to volunteer. They need help with their Tearooms at Ribblehead and Horton, their shops at Settle and Appleby, station adoption and on trail guiding.

Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railways would love for you to get involved with their heritage railway. There are many ways that you can help, from working in the café, shop and stations to becoming a driver, fireman or helping restore the historic railway, there’s a role for everyone.
Training is provided, and there’s no minimum commitment. People of all ages and backgrounds can get involved. As long as you are interested and able to do the role, you will be supported and given the training you need.

Yorkshire Dales Wildlife Rescue urgently needs volunteers for their evening shifts and transport team.
The evening shift starts from 5pm onwards and involves helping to support the rescue centre, either through housekeeping or by learning how to care for the wonderful wildlife patients.
Transport volunteers help transport sick or injured animals safely and quickly from A to B. Volunteers are based across the Yorkshire Dales and beyond.

The Little White Bus run are in need of volunteer drivers!
They run a scheduled minibus services 6 days a week from Keld to Richmond, from Hawes to Leyburn and from Hawes to Garsdale train station. The buses help to connect the Dales communities that depend on them and by being a volunteer bus driver you can help to make it possible.
You can volunteer as much or as little as you’d like. All you need is the D1 category on your driving licence.

Bentham Older People Together are looking for friendly volunteers to help their Thursday Lunch Club bus users get to the golf club.
It’s a great way to meet new people, have some fun and make a difference in the community. Volunteering is easy to fit around your commitments, with a rota of around once every five weeks. Each shift involves around 1.5 hours in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon alongside their friendly drivers.

Craven Wildlife Rescue are looking for dedicated volunteers to join their team of around 30 volunteers.
It’s currently baby season, so their main focus is caring for the youngest wildlife patients. Volunteers can help with essential housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, tidying, laundry, emptying the dishwasher, keeping supplies topped up and organising the storeroom.
There are morning and evening volunteer roles available at their base in Horton-in-Ribblesdale.

Growing with Grace is a community cooperative farm based in Clapham, supplying sustainably grown produce to local people and businesses across Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales.
