A creative regional tourism marketing drive titled the Picture This campaign has officially launched across North Yorkshire. Independent guest houses, rural museums, and traditional farm shops are being supplied with free, locally themed postcards to distribute to summer hikers. The project is explicitly designed to encourage tourists to disconnect from digital screen loops, engage deeply with the physical landscape, and revive the historic tradition of mailing handwritten postcards to loved ones, while simultaneously driving organic promotion of the Dales.
