Settle Victoria Hall has been awarded £100,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund to address critical structural issues. The 171-year-old venue has been struggling with a leaking roof that threatened its historic interior. The grant will fund a complete slate replacement and the delicate restoration of the Victorian proscenium arch. Manager Ann Harding noted that the hall saw record attendance last year, and this funding ensures the doors stay open for the next generation of performers.
