The three-week "pothole blitz" caused significant frustration, but North Yorkshire Highways officials have released data showing they filled over 450 individual defects between Settle and Giggleswick. They’ve used a new "carbon-neutral" cold-lay asphalt, which is supposed to be more resistant to the heavy rainfall common in the Ribble Valley.
