North Yorkshire Police are celebrating what they term a "significant breakthrough" after a series of arrests connected to the theft of quad bikes and high-value agricultural machinery across the northern Dales. The arrests follow a coordinated operation with Durham police, tracking a stolen Audi Q5. Detectives warn, however, that the investigation is ongoing, and they are still hunting for a white VW Golf linked to multiple farm raids in the Middleham and Hawes area.
