North Yorkshire Police confirmed today that the family of a man in his 60s, discovered in the Ripon Canal near Boroughbridge Road, has been informed following the emergency team's attendance.
Officers established a scene while enquiries were conducted, confirming today that a file is being prepared for the coroner.
