Kettlewell Parish Council commissioned structural reviews of several village footbridges crossing Kettlewell Beck this morning to ensure they remain safe for heavy summer foot traffic.
Survey crews are inspecting stone masonry abutments, timber decking, and support pillars for signs of winter erosion or water damage.
Minor maintenance, including non-slip wood treatment and stone repointing, will be carried out over the coming days with minimal disruption to pedestrian access.
