Outgoing Mayor of Richmond, Carl Tate, has formally stepped down following the town's annual mayor-making ceremony. Reflecting on his term alongside Mayoress Sherrie Robinson, Tate described the experience as a "true privilege," having attended more than 80 civic and community events. He extended his gratitude to Dales volunteers and charities, noting that the community's resilience during economic pressures was the definitive highlight of his civic year.
