Re-enactors at Bolton Castle are recreating the period in 1568 when Mary Queen of Scots was held at the fortress, providing daily historical drama, Tudor court music, and costume displays.
The family-friendly program features falconry demonstrations over the castle grounds alongside hands-on archery and calligraphy workshops for children.
Castle curators confirmed that daily living history sessions will continue throughout the August school holiday window.
