Due to a series of extensive, pre-planned highway maintenance closures cutting across Upper Swaledale and Upper Wensleydale today, Saturday, June 6, the DalesBus 80 service is entirely unable to operate its high-altitude route. Transport coordinators are actively directing travellers to utilize the year-round Little White Bus shuttle service operating from Garsdale Station into Hawes as an alternative route to prevent passengers from becoming stranded on the high passes.
