North Yorkshire Police have released the initial results of an intensified multi-agency deployment across Hambleton and Richmondshire. In a sweeping 12-hour high-visibility push, teams executed a series of targeted warrants, resulting in eight arrests for a wide range of offences. Operations included the successful recovery of a suspected stolen agricultural quad bike, the seizure of large quantities of illegal tobacco, and immediate enforcement actions against road traffic offenders. Officers also paired up with Border Force and Immigration Enforcement to conduct surprise compliance visits at local commercial properties, including nail bars and licensed premises, to safeguard vulnerable workers against rural exploitation.
