The Settle-Carlisle Railway Trust has secured a £1.2 million grant for urgent structural repairs to several historic stations along the line. Work is set to begin this summer at Horton-in-Ribblesdale and Garsdale. The funding will focus on preserving original Victorian stonework and improving accessibility for disabled travellers.
