The British Association for Shooting and Conservation has wrapped up its Let's Learn Moor 2026 project across managed Dales estates. Marking a decade of operations, the program brought more than 300 regional schoolchildren out to the fells. Working alongside gamekeepers, sheep farmers, and volunteers from the Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team, the children received hands-on training in traditional dry stone walling, biodiversity monitoring, and critical upland wildfire prevention techniques.
