Head gardeners and estate historians opened the autumn exhibition today, showcasing traditional heirloom vegetable varieties, orchard fruit harvests, and historic food preservation displays.
The exhibition traces agricultural traditions across Lower Swaledale and features interactive garden trails for visiting families throughout October.
Curators noted that seasonal produce from the walled garden is being served directly in the estate tearoom.
