Sedbergh Educational Trust confirmed receipt of a dedicated green transition grant today, enabling the installation of rooftop solar panels and intelligent energy management systems.
The renewable energy project will significantly cut carbon emissions and operational utility costs, with savings redirected toward expanding science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) facilities for local pupils.
Work on the solar installations will take place over the summer break, with full system integration completed before the autumn term begins.
