The high-power charging hub allows EV drivers to recharge battery packs in under thirty minutes, encouraging eco-friendly tourists to stop, explore local shops, and dine in town centre cafés while their vehicles charge.
Local business leaders praised the infrastructure rollout today, emphasising that expanded charging options are essential for attracting green tourism to rural Westmorland.
