Residents at a regional care home have partnered with The Yorkshire Soap Company to curate a bespoke line of fragrances and hand-drawn packaging based on their youth. Among them is resident Noeline Townsend, who used her lifelong memories of exploring the Yorkshire Dales to help design the collection. Care assistant Shannon Palmer, who spearheaded the initiative, says the art and sensory sessions have triggered immense comfort for the residents. All proceeds from the sales are being funnelled directly into building a new specialist dementia garden and funding further art therapy sessions.
