Community Rail Lancashire and local station adoption groups announced today that registration is open for a new series of guided autumn heritage walks starting from Settle, Horton-in-Ribblehead, and Ribblehead stations.
The free guided walks focus on the industrial heritage of the Ribblehead Viaduct, local limestone geology, and railway history across Upper Ribblesdale.
Organisers noted that combining rail travel with guided fell walks promotes sustainable tourism across the National Park.
