The York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority confirmed that applications are open today for capital grants up to £25,000 to assist rural community venues with energy-efficiency upgrades.
Funding supports the installation of solar panels, heat pumps, and modern draught insulation to reduce operating overheads for isolated village halls operating as winter warm spaces.
Priority is being given to historic community buildings and parish halls across Craven, Swaledale, and Wensleydale.
