Buckden Road Closure: Week Three Begins

The Details: BT’s project to lay 1,400 meters of high-speed fibre-optic ducting is now hitting the hardest part of the route—the section near Deepdale Bridge. While the road closure is keeping through-traffic away, village businesses are desperate to remind the public that Buckden remains open for hikers and cyclists. They’ve even put up "We are open" signs on the detour routes to ensure the village doesn’t become a ghost town while the work continues.
