North Yorkshire Council Highways has confirmed that a significant stretch of the A684 between Leyburn and Patrick Brompton will undergo resurfacing starting Monday morning. The road has suffered from deep rutting and winter damage. Manual "Stop-Go" boards will be used during peak hours, but a full overnight closure is expected for the final week of the project. Motorists are being urged to use the A6108 through Masham as an alternative.
