Stargazers were treated to a rare and powerful display of the Northern Lights across the Dales last night. Photographers gathered at Ribblehead Viaduct reported "vivid greens and deep purples" visible to the naked eye for over two hours. Dark Skies officers say the Dales’ lack of light pollution provided some of the best viewing conditions in the UK
