Step into spring at the beautiful Bolton Abbey Estate and join us for a gentle, joy‑filled Easter Trail through woodland paths, riverside walks, and the Abbey’s timeless grounds.
Pick up your free trail sheet from the Riverside car park kiosk on arrival.
Follow the clues on the trail sheet and find the oversized bunnies hidden along the way, tucked among the trees and ruins. It’s a perfect day out for families, friends, and anyone who loves a little adventure wrapped in fresh air and daffodils.

🐰 Come Along and Celebrate Spring
Bring your walking shoes, your curiosity, and your favourite people. Whether you’re chasing clues or simply soaking in the scenery, it’s a lovely way to welcome the season.
Once the trail sheet has been completed you can take it home and enter the ‘Design a Bunny’ competition. The winner will see their bunny design brought to life in the 2027 Easter Trail and receive a Bolton Abbey Season Ticket, giving daily admission to the Estate car parks.
The Easter Trail does get very busy so booking a parking space in advance is advised.
